Ministerial Activities
 

The Vietnamese – Korean Seminar on Smart Cities was organized by jointly coordination between the Ministry of Construction (MoC) and the Ministry of Land, Insfrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and Korean Embassy to Vietnam on March 22th, in presence of the Vietnamese Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha, Minister of MLIT Kim Hyun Mee, Korean Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam Lee Hyuk, representatives of departments and agencies under two ministries, experts, investors, organizations, scientists, managers and enterprises of both sides.

 

Minister Pham Hong Ha had a working session with Laos Minister of Public Works and Transport at MoC’s headquarter on March 14th . There are Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung and leaders of functional departments and agencies under MoC at the working session.

 

Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh had a meeting with Finnish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elina Kalkku and delegation of Finnish Embassy in Vietnam.

 

Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh had a working session with the Dutch Deputy Minister for Foreign Economic Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Marten van den Berg at the MoC’s headquarter on February 6th. There were leaders of functional departments and agencies under the MoC.

 

Deputy Minister Phan Thi My Linh received and worked with the First Secretary – Netherlands Embassador Laurent Umans at the MoC’s headquarter on WaterworX on Jannuary, 22th.

 

Deputy Minister Nguyen Dinh Toan received and had a working session with Director-General of the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) - Mr Frank Rijsberman at the MoC’s headquarter on January 22th.

 

Vietnam is willing to assist Algeria in developing agriculture and aquatic cultivation, said Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha, who is head of the Vietnamese sub-committee of the Vietnam-Algeria Inter-Governmental Committee.

 

Vietnamese Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha had working sessions with Algeria’s minister of industry and mines and minister of housing, urban planning and the city in Algiers on November 27, aiming to enhance bilateral ties.

 

Algeria is of utmost importance to Vietnam’s political cooperation in Africa, so the two sides need to enhance their traditional relations, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha told staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Algeria on November 26.

 

Vietnam’s Ministry of Construction (MoC) and the World Bank in Vietnam signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on sustainable urban and infrastructure development partner for 2017 – 2021 on June 28th in presence of Minister of Construction – Pham Hong Ha, Deputy Minister of Construction – Phan Thi My Linh, World Bank Country Director for Vietnam – Ousmane Dione.
